I. OVERVIEW OF TIEN SON, BAC NINH

Tien Son Industrial Park is established by Prime Minister under Decision No. 1129 / QD-TTg on December 18, 1998 and official for lease land since December 22, 1999 with land lease term for 50 years. This is one of the first industrial park model in the country which is built synchronously about both economics and society: the industrial zone is associated with urban areas, housing and social infrastructure services.

II. NATURAL GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND TRAFFIC

- Tien Son Industrial Park on the territory of 2 districts Tien Du and Tu Son has natural geographical location and prime transportation system extremely convenient for traffic. IPs in economic growth triangle Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, the south near new national road 1 to Lang Son, the north close to old national road , the east near Nam- Noi Due channel, the west near provincial road 295. From Tien Son industrial zone along National road18A from east to Cai Lan port, west to Noi Bai international Airport.

III. INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICES

1. Internal transport system:

- Internal transport system accounts for 15% of total industrial park area, built completely and logical layout in the industrial park site, including the 2-lane main road 37m wide and 28 m wide branching roads.

- Along the road with the pavement of 6 m width, where is showed underground technical corridor such as electricity, water supply and drainage, information.

- Tine Son Industrial Park is connected to the new national road 1 by a traffic intersection and overpass.

2. Power supply system

Tien Son Industrial Park is supplied with power from the national power grid through 110 / 22KV substation with capacity 2x40 MVA and power transmission systems along the land plot to ensure adequate, stable power supply to the fence for all enterprises in industrial parks. Investors may choose to use medium voltage or low voltage depending on their demand.

3. Communication System

Back Ninh Post Office has established a branch in Tien Son Industrial Park center is responsible for establishing a modern telecommunation network IDD with international standards and meets fastly and fully all requirements for communication services in and abroad. Besides, IZ also established an modern IT system to meet the demands of media services such as data transmission, Internet, IP telephony, conferencing video.

4. Water supply and drainage system

- Survey data about underground water mass in Tien Son Industrial Park area is 30,000m3 / day. In Phase 1, Industrial Zone has established a groundwater treatment plant 6.500m3 / day, water tank system with large capacity and water supply network to meet the water use demand serving for production and daily life for enterprises in industrial zone. In the next phase, Tien Son Industrial Park will continue to build more 1-2 groundwater treatment plant with equivalent capacity.

- Rainwater in industrial zone  through drainage systems and discharged into the ditch to Duong River.

- Industrial waste water is collected and treated at the wastewater treatment plant of industrial zone by micro-organism methods, then sedimented in conditioning lakes to sediment more sludge and harmful impurities.

- Solid waste from the factories is collected and categorized before moving on landfill for disposal.

5. The other public utilities:

- Logistics center includes approximately 2 hectares for warehouse system with outhouse and outdoor warehouse ready to meet the needs of storage, yards, customs and goods transport for businesses.

- Bank: Back Ninh industry and trade Bank, Bac Ninh Agriculture and rural development are located  in Tien Son Industrial Park always ready to provide for businesses banking services and credit.

- Lighting: all internal roads IPs are equipped with high pressure lamps lighting system layouted along the road.

- Security: Security cluster in Tien Son Industrial Park was established in 2001 including provincial police, district, commune police force and security force of enterprises to ensure security and order in industrial zones. In addition, the industrial park also arranged the guard booth and security patrol activating 24/7.

- Fire protection work is particularly concerned with the system of modern firefighting equipment, are arranged according to the instructions of Back Ninh Firefighting police. Fire forces are trained fully and skillfully and having coordination between forces.

- Environment and green trees: over 65.000m2  for planting concentrated green trees, combined with green trees along the traffic roads create fresh air environment.

- Social infrastructure: Besides industrial zone infrastructure, social infrastructure is also focused on comprehensive development, including the categories: housing for staff, condominiums, service centers, schools, hospital, amusement parks, supermarkets, sports complexes ...in order to solve and to meet every needs of staffs, workers in the industrial park.
