Hai Yen industrial zone covers an area of ​​182.2 hectares, built in 2005 in Yen Hung commune, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province. Mong Cai is ending point in two economic corridor Con Minh - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Quang Ninh and Quang Tay - Lang Son - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. In the near future, Mong Cai will become a center of industry, trade, services and tourism between Vietnam and Chinese.

I. Project introduction

Quang Ninh is a province in the northeast of Vietnam, the land area of 6,110 square kilometers with population of about 1.25 million people; north next to Lang Son, Bac Giang, south next to Hai Phong, west near Hai Duong, the east next to East sea and Ha Long bay_world natural heritage recognized by UNESCO. Quang Ninh province has the borderline on land and sea with with China, Mong Cai international border gate and the local border gates, forming a convenient transport network of road and waterway connecting China to Vietnam. In national economic development strategy, Quang Ninh province is one vertex in social-economic development triangle of north Vietnam including Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, as well as an important transportation hub for road, railway, sea port of the domestic and international areas.

North of industrial zone borders the old national road 18, the south borders new national road 18. Hai Yen industrial zone is away from Mong Cai international border gate 6Km, from Ha Long city and Cai Lan port 170km, 50km from Phong Thanh. Distance from Mong Cai to Nam Ninh is 200km

Waterway

- Hai Yen industrial zone is away from Van Gia sea port 20Km, 9km from Dan Tien port.

- 30 km from Hai Ha deep-water port, with Cai Lan - Quang Ninh port, Hai Phong port (Vietnam), South port, Thanh Phong port (China) etc ... to create a traffic network on sea ​​of Gulf of Tokin

- From the city of Mong Cai to Ha Long is about 3 hours on speedboat.

Railway

Railway network is being studied to interconnect with the national rail network and international one such as Ha Long - Hai Ha - Mong Cai, Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tien Yen - Hai Ha (Quang Ninh).

Air transport

Viet Nam government has approved the construction of airports in Mong Cai, airport construction projects are being in the stage of the feasibility study.

III. Technical infrastructure

1. Internal transport

- Internal transport system accounts for 13.5% of the total area of ​​the industrial zone.

- Center road of industrial zone is 43.5m wide, main road with 2 lanes of 33m wide and 21,25m wide ring road.

- The pavement is arranged underground corridors such as electricity, water supply and drainage, information system and equipped with high-pressure lamp lighting system along the road.

2. Power supply

Power supply is taken from the national power grid via 110 kV substation with a capacity of 2 x 63 MVA and power transmission system is along the plot of land to ensure adequate power supply to the fence for all investors in the industrial park. Investors may choose to use medium voltage or low voltage depending on their demand.

3. Water Supply

Clean water is taken from Trang Vinh reservoir passed through water treatment plant with a capacity of 6.500m3 / day, water supply pipe diameter from D100- D400mm.

4. Drainage & Wastewater

- Rainwater drainage and waste water treatment system are separatedly built its own wastewater. Diameter of rain water drainage pipe is D800mm- D1250mm

- Industrial waste water of each plant were pretreated to meet regulated standards before pouring into the sewer system. Wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 4,000m3 / day, capacity increases on demand. The amount of waste water is calculated by 80% of supply water. Diameter of wastewater treatment pipe is D300mm- D600mm

- Solid waste from the factories is collected and transferred to concentrated landfill  of Mong Cai city to handle

5. Communications

Hai Yen industrial zone set up modern telecommunications network reaching international standards to serve for demands about communications in domestic and foreign areas . Besides, industrial park is also established a modern information technology system to meet the demands of multi-service communications such as data transmission, Internet, IP telephony, video conferencing ...

IV. Service infrastructure

Operating center

Located at the entrance of the industrial park, is the headquarter of Operation Management Enterprise of Industrial Park, Management board Representative, Department of Customs, Quang Ninh Tax Department to support businesses at the industrial park.

Logistics center

All customs procedures are easy to approved in industrial zone with many incentives in the Vietnam-China.

Warehouse system: is supported bonded warehouse regulation, export waiting zone…

Lighting

All the internal road routes in industrial zone are equipped with high-voltage lighting systems arranged along the routes.

Security

Security cluster of Hai Yen industrial zone includes the police force of province, district and commune and protective forces of the enterprises to ensure security and order in the industrial zone. In addition, the industrial park also arranged the guard booths and 24/7 security patrol teams.

Fire protection work

Fire protection work in industrial park is particularly concerned with the system of modernized firefighting equipments are arranged according to the instructions of the provincial fire prevention and fighting police, besides each investor self equips the fire protection system for office area and workshop. Fire forces rehearsed plans mature and coordination between forces.

Environment and green tree

To ensure a clean environment, the surrounding of  industrial zone is over 35,300m2 of concentrated greening trees along the road routes to create fresh air environment

V. Social Infrastructure
