In response to the government's expectations, Hai Phong City People's, so far (5/2007), Nomura industrial zone - Hai Phong has leased more than 90% of the land (not including leased land registration), 52 investors with a total investment capital is attracted nearly $ 600 million (not including venture capital company Nomura - Hai Phong), with the average investment rate of 1 hectare is very high (approximately 7 million / ha), creating jobs for over 15,000 local employees (as of 2007) and by 2010, this figure will rise to 30,000 employees After granting establishment license in 1994, Nomura-HaiPhong Industrial Zone (NHIZ) officially started its operation. Located in Hai Phong, the harbor city of Vietnam, NHIZ offers leasing services for land, factory, and office. 30 - 60 USD/m2 for leasing period until December 23rd 2003 (Exact price will be subject to land plot location and type of industries invested by tenants).
