Introduction of Van Trung industrial park, Bac Giang

Van Trung industrial park(Van Trung IP) is located in Van Trung Commune, Viet Yen District, Bac Giang with a planned area of 425.6ha. Phase I development area: 150ha. Phase II development area: 88.3ha.

Phase I is invested to build with a scale of 150 ha. The industries attracting investment into the Industrial Park are general industries such as electronics manufacturing industry, machinery, packaging, and related manufacturing industries.

I. LOCATION: Van Trung Industrial Park is located on the axis of National Highway 1A to the Vietnam - China border, which belongs to the administrative boundaries of Viet Yen and Yen Dung districts of Bac Giang province.

II. THE INFRASTRUCTURE :

1. Infrastructure:

- Van Trung IP Phase I has been invested synchronously, the ground has been cleared and leveled up, including power supply system, water supply system, water treatment plant, telecommunication system, fire protection system, lighting system, road system.

2. Power Supply:

- The electricity used in Phase I is mainly taken from the 22kV power supply system of Bac Giang Power Company, divided into several routes to ensure stable power supply.

- Phase II takes power from the 110kV / 22kV transformer station built right inside the Industrial Park, ensuring a stable and sufficient 22kV power supply.

3. Water Supply:

The water source of the IP is taken from Cau River and IP also will build a clean water plant, water storage tank and booster pump station, the water supply of the clean water plant in phase I is 6,000m3/day and night, the next stage will increase by 12,000m3, the amount of water is sufficient and stable.

III. LABOR SOURCE:

- Low cost of workers, abundant labor force.

- Van Trung Industrial Zone is located in Bac Giang province, the area is defined as Region 3 with a labor cost of 77% of the labor price in Hanoi area. In particular, Bac Giang has an extremely abundant workforce with 60% of the population in working age.

IV. TRANSPORTATION:

- Bac Giang is a province with a quite diverse transport system with 3 types: road, waterway and airway which are reasonably distributed. From Bac Giang, it is easy to trade with key domestic and international economic regions.
